hmmm Ive seen that before on my own machine. I have a yahoo toolbar that appears right below the address window at the top. there is a little button that is labled Pop up blocker. If you dont have this toolbar. Go up to VIEW at the top ----chose toolbars----then yahoo toolbar. The popup blocker can be turned and off. It will tell you how many it has blocked and what it recently blocked..etc. If there is a real worm/ virus, your protection software should catch it regardless of what any pop up says.

I don't know your procedure for running your antispyware, but i suggest rebooting into safe mode by rebooting and holding down F8 until you're given the option. Once in safe mode, do the following..

You want to turn off system restore and delete the restore points if you have it on. Here is how:

To Disable System Restore:

- Go to Control Panel

- Click on System

- Click System Restore Tab

- Check the box that says, "Turn off System Restore"

- Click Apply

- When the popup asks, "Do you want to turn off System Restore?" Click YES.

Next, empty your recycle bin if you have anything in it.

Next, run a program such as CCleaner and delete all the junk in your temporary internet files and cookies. It does a good job of cleaning and is a free program.

Now, run your antivirus program and after I would run CCleaner one last time just to be safe.

Reboot and you can run your antivirus again, but you should be clean. You can turn back on system restore if you want.
