I am 13 and I have been acting for almost 7 years. I have done some plays, but never gotten a lead (even though I have the potential to do so). Most of my plays have had male leads. I have done musical theatre and wanted to continue at one theatre and try out for their company program so I could get a chance to audition for their productions, but I moved later that year. I also did a movie last year (as an extra because there were no roles for my age) and the casting dirrector said that she really liked me. Although I have had much experience, I dont really have any that would impress an agent enough for him or her to represent me. I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites with information about play and mini films or things of that such (I would prefer films because Im not that fond of singing anywhere other than my shower =)) so I could build up a resume. I am 13 and the closest big city that I live near is Atlanta, GA. I would also like to hear about acting classes too . Thanks

Step 1; contact information...phone numbers, addresses, etc.

Step two; objective. Explain what you're looking for and what you would like. (Movies, etc...so your agent knows)

Step 3; qualifications. Convince him/her that you have the experience...ex.; tell them what plays / movies you've done...

Add anything else. That's just some basic stuff. I know how you feel about the "never getting a lead, even though you have the potential." Don't worry about it :o)

You build your resume with all of your acting roles and the names of the theater where you performed the play.
