This is gonna get a lot of negative reviews but. I think it would be great if The Confederacy would have won the Civil War.Not because of slavery (which was horrribly evil) but becuse as Americans I'd say we would both North and Soth have much more of our personal rights and freedoms intact today. Because the Nortern victory was a victory for monolithic federal government and that helps no one but Big Buisness. Besides that if the Uninted States was weaker we would be less apt to interfere in World Politics. Also the world situation would be vastly diffrent if thier were a modern Uninted States and Confederate States because of the diffrent countries both would be aligned with. Imagine WW2 with the US as a German ally and the Confederacy as an ally Of the United Kingdom. Think about that. Overall i think that Two americas now instead of one would be beneficial to the world

I believe I'd do my best to prevent the Democratic Party from splintering in 1860. Had Jefferson Davis won the Democratic nomination for 1860, I believe that he'd have been elected.
That means that the War Between the States would not have occurred, at least not when it did. I believe that slavery would have been peacefully dismantled and slaves would have been free by the middle of the 1870's or soon there after without the shedding of so much blood and the expenditure of so many billions of dollars.

The invention of the graphics water bong. Eventhough this was a provincial historical event, scholars everywhere are discussing the utility of this discovery. Not only did this change individuals who embraced its social content, it also allowed a nation to find a new found freedom. When the final chapter of American History is written, don't expect to read about individuals chilling with their custom bong with the hope that everything will be okay. However, no one can rewrite history. Quite frankly, I wouldn't change anything.

"Putting George S. Patton in charge of the European Theater during World War II." Just think of it, No Communist Russia(USSR), No North Korean War, No Red China, No arms to the Middle East! That one man could have changed human history more than any man on the face of the earth in the 20th Century.

I would go back to the meetings taking place to write the Bill of Rights and ask the authors to more clearly explain what constitutes a "well regulated militia." I would then suggest that they take into account the evolution of technology to come, and ask if they really meant to make sure that private citizens should be allowed to own 50 calibre rifles, or assault weapons.

~The have been countless. Geronimo became defeated at Wounded Knee. the 1st San Francisco earthquake buried lots of the cacausian area of city, giving upward thrust to the Tongs in the colonies. Sherman burned Charlotte to the floor. The milkshake became invented in Boston instead for tea. George Washington surveyed the Mason-Dixon Line, and Lewis and Clark began their time out to Florida. Edit: For all of you American historic past 'pupils' available who think of the colonies declared independence on July 4, 1776, be counseled that independence became formally and formally declared by making use of the ratification by making use of 12 colonies of the Lee Resolutiion on July 2, 1776. The assertion proposed by making use of Jefferson and something of the Committee of 5 became drafted in very final sort by making use of the 2d Continental Congress on July 4, and ratified on July 9 by making use of all 13 colonies whilst the huge apple delegation became finally authorized to solid its vote. The assertion became then despatched to the printer. It became not signed till August 2, 1776. formerly condemning this destructive, ignornant lazy soul for not understanding some difficulty-loose historic fact, do not you all think of you will desire to grasp a splash approximately your very own historic past? To Ret Sgt: circulate to this baby's web site - it is not a 10 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous yet he/she is from the U. S..

this is a good question. i really wouldnt go back in time and change anything because that would mess history up and prevent good things from happening and worse things could happen. all things happen for a reason.right?
but there are things that i didnt want to happen such as 9/11; wwII and the holocaust and ect.
i wouldnt change history, but i would like to back in time though
