No, machines were not broke, the dems fooled citizens into voting for them, but in 08, they want be fooled again. You heard "fool me once" shame on you 'fool me twice" shame on me. I suspect that is going to be one big Amnesty Bill memory in 08, and all them Dems that voted for that bill to be passed, will be in the unemployment line, along with them few Republicans that voted for it to pass too. If these people are not voted out, the same old Amnesty Bill will raise it's ugly head again in 09.

The voting machines did not need to be broke. Both Republican voters and Independent voters were tired of six years of broken promises. By the measurement of the 1994 Contract with America, the Republicans in Congress had clearly lost their way. The Speaker of the House browbeating and effectively bribing Republicans while keeping the vote open for hours just to pass the largest entitlement increase in the past thirty years. Several Republicans facing criminal charges for essentially accepting bribes. U.S troops stuck in a war in which little progress was being made. No progress on the family values issues that energize social conservatives.

The question is not how did so many Democrats win by large margins, it is how did so many Republicans manage to hang on by the skin of their teeth.

Voting machines are programmed to be broken only when republicans win. You do have to admire those democrats for their technical abilities.

Now you have a appropriate assertion even though it extremely is no longer a query, purely a assertion of fact, as you recognize.

I believe it had something to do with pedophilia, racism, bribery, an extreme lack of oversight, a national budget that has gone from balanced to worst deficit increase in US history and the most controversial war in decades.

Obviously the goverment isn't run by the people, but rather communist regimes known as the "left-wing" and "right-wing" folk, who insist that gay marriage is legal, killing babies is A-OK, and all fun should be abolished, except for gays, abortionists, and fundamentalist pinkos.
