I can't stand it when kids that are old enough to know better are rude to their parents in public, and especially when the parents just take it (seemingly) out of embarrassment (?)
If my kids ever did that to me (they KNOW better), I would simply tell them (out loud) that if they think I won't say anything because people are listening, think again mister (or sister, as the case may be). Come to think of it, maybe that's why my kids never do that.

My 2 year old son screams like a girl when he dose not get what he wants, and it drives me up the wall!

i'm the only child around, but grown ups can be annoying to me - especially when they do the nasty and i can hear them a mile away, tee hee!

Both my girls were whiners. Man they could stop traffic with that sound! It would just drive me insane.
