My biggest regret is that I did not become a Jewish rock star.

When I was a kid, there was not much support for a black man wanting to be in Jewish rock and roll music.
sure, now times have changed, but I STILL don't see the support.
Plus, You would not believe how little support there is in the black community for it.
We've all suffered and can identify with each others pains. i have written a few songs that express my feelings as a black Jewish rock star more completely.

Here are some of the titles:

Lean On Me, I Have Matza Balls.
Tear The Roof Off The Synagage.
I'll Never be Your Gefilte Fish A Burning.

ALL CLASSICS!!!
But NO Respect...

I haven't really dealt with it, I am still undergoing intense therapy!

I regret my inability to recognize a joke or simple teasing when I was a child. I couldn't really help it, I'm mildly autistic, but even so that one character trait made my childhood a living # E | |. If I could somehow convey to my childhood self the understanding of human child-play and the like, life for me would have been so- much easier. I deal with it by doing what I can to ease the suffering of others, most often through humor.

I regreted not starting up a relationship with some one during grad school. When I graduated it was disappointing because I found out that the person shared the feelings!! Weeks after graduation, I wrote a letter to this person and was honest about my feelings and regret. It was a purging of sorts...by then...the person was close to hooking up with a fling...

I feel okay now...wasn't meant to be I guess...

My biggest regret (and there are two) is one, choosing my jerk boyfriend over my daughters best interest and two (and this is worse) not telling my daughter who her biological dad was until she was 12. She hated my guts for about 3 years for that (yeah I deserved it). It all worked out..she's only recognized her step-dad as her "real" dad since she was 5. He adopted her when the whole biology thing came up. But it took a long time for her to forgive me.

being a terror within the family and having developed eating disorder which harms my health as hell.

I deeply regret my self-destructing behaviours but they seem to have already become part of myself. I feel upset whenever I look back. But I have no other way but to admit that I DID WRONG. I admit my wrong behaviours rather than to make excuses or deny them. Now I have to accept whatever I have still got and make the best out of my own reality.

I dont regret anything at all, everything happens for a reason. And if something didn't ever happen, like if you had NOTHING to regret on, then you wouldn't learn lessons from your mistakes.. so it kind of helps you in life! lol

But if you like get a girl pregnant or something like that then yeah you're screwed. lol

not living my childhood freely and happily even though I could, but I was always very shy and scarred and didn't have friends, but it's all over now, and I'm a stronger person..
I deal with it by trying to make children around me happy as much as I can, and when I have children of my own, I want to be the best mom ever, and I want to give them everything, and make them live their childhood to the fullest, and avoid repeating my mistakes..

thinking that something could get better, and never acted on what I wanted, thinking I'll stand a better chance in the future. Fact is, it went the other way round and I lost my one and only chance. There was never a better chance, or another chance for that matter.

it's just one of those mess in life that we cannot fix.
