The power steering and the A/C compressor are run by the same belt. The A/C compressor blew up affecting the power steering. Replace the A/C compressor. $200-250 new. I saw it on e-bay for $25.00. You also need refrigerant and labour. Prices vary. But you do not have to replace the complete system. You should pay less than $800.00.

You want to replace the "Cooling System" because it was removed due to a power steering problem and now you want to replace the "Air" system?
Just what are you doing? What is wrong with the cooling system?
What is wrong with the power steering?
Air system, hmmmmmmmmmmm do you mean the Air Conditioning system? Is that what you are talking about?
AC repair depends on what is wrong. Leaks fixed, compressor bad, just recharging it will not due.
Don't buy it. You are in for big bucks to make it right.

Leave it alone. It will cost you more than the car is worth to get it back right again. Look elsewhere for a ride that works when you buy it. good luck.
