How about "Benny"? Short for BennieBeetle.

Which leads to the second suggestion. "BB" (as in Bee Bee).

Which leads to the third suggestion. "B squared", as in B with a little s located at the top right of the B.
You dig?

Which leads to the fourth suggestion (and one of my favorites), how about "Digger" (little dig for short).

You could name it, (5th suggestion) "brat"

"Otto" might be a good name (6), but people may confuse that with auto.

A boys name for a car? - I don't know, why don't you try "Sebastian", (sebbie for short)

Maybe you would like to look up the Hawiian equivolent name for an English name. Here is the link
http://www.e-hawaii.com/fun/hawaiianname/default.htm#D

Other boys name that might work are: "Tad, Zachary, Caden, Hunter, Chase" and of course "Oliver"

Have fun and good luck with the names!

Francis is a cute idea actually. You could nickname it Frankie.

Or, how about Oliver? You could nickname it Ollie. Just an idea.

This was a fun question!

My first car was named Althea, and I've never felt inspired enough to name my current one... I think I am now! Thanks!

Here are some ideas for your mum:

Jasper ("Jas" or "Perry")
Milo ("Miley" or "Miles")
Maxwell ("Max")
Rex
Ringo (already sounds nick-namey, and WAS a Beatle)
Lennon ("Lenny" - same idea)
George ("Georgie" - same idea)
Porter ("Mr. Ports" or "Porty" - silly, but he transports you)
Sterling ("Sterl" or "Sterls" - it's a silver car)
Wheeler ("Wheels" or "Wheelie")
Murphy ("Murf")
Oscar ("Os" "Oz" "Ozzie" or "Car-ry")
Harvey ("Harv")

My favorites are Lennon (I love Lenny), Sterling, and Porter.

There is always "Herbie" like from the popular Disney Movie. I like your idea though, it is very creative.
