or will you refuse, even if everyone else is getting one? because when they finally decide that its time to start getting them into society, theyll manipulate the public into wanting them....

well so far the plan is to integrate the "REAL I.D." by may 2008, a new id card, which will already have a chip in it, then by 2010 theyll really push the chip inserted into you

ok heres the DL... eventually they want to make it so your money, your id, everything is in the chip, every way that you interact with society will depend on this chip, and if you do anything "wrong" such as oppose them, protest, whatever theyll just turn your chip off and youre screwed

This is here already and it becomes more and more pervasive all of the time. You have a credit card they can find you almost and device available to you can be turned against you but the big sale of the technology is going to be the push to have your children have it placed into their bodies so that if they are taken (kidnapped) by someone that they can find them. That sounds really good but I see it as the mark to find any and all of us, when this happens you are no longer going to be free, they are going to be very insidious it is with stealth that they will accomplish this and most people are going to go a long with it.

The chances of the government using these tracking chips, real ID with all of what you are and have AGAINST YOU are much greater than the chance (and accessibility) that you will go missing/kidnapped), and they will find you.
You think a kidnapper is not going to search you for your possessions?
My whole point is, with the reputation of this country among other things, you should fear the government more than random kidnappers.
Weigh out the good and the bad before you decide it's a great advancement in technology and society.

This is a type of branding. I oppose to it. I was a security guard in a government office and 2 uniformed Army men came in because they had some papers to take care of. My job was to direct the person visiting the office to the correct line for the the specific documents needed. Of the 2 officers, one went to the counter and the other waited by the entrance. I saw the back of the officer's head and saw a surgical line on the base of his skull, the other told me that they have chips implanted. I froze when he said this. The chip has all info related to the person from DOB to Rank. This implanting of chips is just for the government to follow everyone and keep track of all daily activities. I know that this is in a way, invasion of privacy.

That was supposed to be the plot for the Omen and the way the anti Christ takes over the world. Just to say the idea is not knew.
I think it would be fun to figure out a way to reprogram them.
The government can do many things right now that will curl your hair. If they want you, they already have you, no chip needed.

Why would the government care about where you are? Are you evading taxes? Child molesting? Seriously, it's not the feds, it's big business. They are tracking where you go online right now, so they can find out what you are BUYING.

I honestly think only those who are like sex offenders, robbers, or suspected terrorists will be the types to get those. Those of us who are decent citizens will unlikely be forced to wear a tracking chip.

This sounds more like what is interpreted in the Bible after the anti-Christ comes to earth and makes you take the mark of the beast! (you can't buy or sell food, etc and could be killed for not taking it)

They can't do it unless the American people are stupid enough to vote for national health care.
Once we have national health care it will take left-wing judicial activists about 30 minutes to determine that the federal government owns your body.
Protect freedom...vote Republican.

I think cell phones are the beginning. Every damn body can track you down, even when you don't want them to.
