I don't have a Mother with a Police scanner, but I have the next worse person; namely. my Mother in Law who lives and breathes Police Scanners. She has that damn thing on 24/7.

why a police scanner,you should be able to run out for a snack when you want,but dont speed there.

my nanny has one and when we where kids and my dad let me drive ( i was eleven) and got pulled over on the highway she called my mom right away
