Tough decision, with the jail time, it will be over in 30 days but you will have that on your record forever. With the drug court, they make you jump through alot of hoops, but if you complete the drug court successfully the record will be gone.

Because they have a life and amibition and don't want doing jail time for drugs on their record for starters.

If they are truly already "on the right path" and not now using drugs as a substitute for alchohol, then why would they want to take the additional steps to avoid jail.

If you have no job, no life, no responsibilities, no friends or family that this will upset and no future ambitions, then 30 days in jail may the correct decision for you.
