Of course they will know of the music but as the years go pass by they will become very hard to remember, but if they are catchy tunes then they will be more likely to remember them. With the way technology is going then within 50 years we may not be able to listen to them,I'm sure they will come up with some new way of music, but i would say that you try to get a person from your family or friends to make sure that your Cd's are kept & never be thrown out.I have personally done this as i have over 5000 cd's in my collection & if they do the same to their children then you can guarantee that they will be worth a fortune, but you will have them at your fingertips.Just make sure you have a cd player to be held with them as they might not have cd players in the next 50-100 years.Let the music keep flowing as we have hasd some fantastic music artists & music in general.

Sure. I think Bon Jovi is a good example of a band from yesterday, today and tomorrow. They couldn't have lasted this long if people wanted to forget about them.
Rap music will be long remembered because it is so annoying. I am surprised it has lasted this long, but yet here it is. Can't lose it, can't forget about it.

the actual song is basically below mainstream, think of of mainstream song using fact the foam that sits on precise of your glass of beer, the actual song is the beer. below mainstream you get carry of great bands like TRAM, Mastodon, Closure in Moscow, Tyr, regulate Bridge, Suspyre, hurricane Corrosion. there is even some stable pop song, I extremely like the Australian singer Kimbra, she's the girl in that "somebody I used to properly known" song video.
