Being a Yankee fan, I don't like to see them lose. Do you like it when your team loses? The reason people hate the Yankees is because they have the most World Series championships. People always hate the teams(all sports) that have multiple championships---Cowboys, Lakers, Jeff Gordon, Patriots, Duke Basketball----it's easy to say you hate them but in the end, those teams have been proven that they are winners & hate them or not, you can't take away the championships they have.

I'm a Yankee fan so I like to see them win.I am inherently aware of the backlash against a team that "buys" a championship.However,isn't that the american way and baseball is the american pastime.If they were a completely losing team,baseball wouldn't be as entertaining.The bad guy has to win once in a while.It gives the good guy a foe worthy of the challenge.

Well how should I put it?I rember in 92-93 they said that the blue jays were the "best team money can buy".Funny thier in the same boat now.Biggest payroll.

Being a Red Sox of course I enjoy seeing the Yanks lose.
Also a Cubs fan so the same applies to the White Sox and Cardinals.

i feel bad when they lose because thats like a slap to steinbrenners face. they spend millions and millions of dollars so they can pretty much guarantee victory, but its not good enough. maybe torre needs to get replaced?
