The past...period. I always make it quite clear when entering the relationship, there will be no talk of past relationships on either side. Live for today and look forward to tomorrow.

Good question. I think there is a difference between spouse ro significant other. A spouse is your partner in life and evrything you do may impact them as well so there should not be anything you didn't share with them. They are lifetime partner. At least that is what the vows say.

A significant other tends to be a very close friend, one might say partner however there is nothing holding you to a lifetime commitment and therefore you still hold some independence.

Finances would be something I would keep to myself with a significant other because you really aren't sure where the relationship will go if there is no committent. Some of it I would devulge but not all.

No holds barred w/ my hubby...we talk about everything...he is the one that feels shy to ask certain things...(past relationships) but I wouldnt shy away from them...

Family and friends- everything...I don't open up in real life...I am a closed book.

I'm with Laela on this one. Past sexual history. The hubby and I decided we didn't want to know, so we left it at that.

Obviously, I haven't discussed it with anyone.
