Im going to assume you mean that you are looking for 'low income housing'... tho it's hard to tell the way it's written.

Try starting out with your local Community Action Agency.
Here is a link to several in the area -- http://local.yahoo.com/results?fr=dd-local-more&stx=community+action+agency&csz=Kansas+City%2C+MO

Across the country, Community Action agencies administer over 90 % of all Community Service Block Grants -- these are grants provided by the government to provide services, housing, programs... well, all kinds of things... and quite often, low income housing is one of the ways in which this is done. If the agency near you is sponsoring this type of a building program, or another agency nearby, they can put you in contact with who you need to talk to.

The second place I would contact, would be the Department of Social Services. They will have a list of units that are slated to low income housing - tho -- there is usually a waiting list, just to warn you. If you want them to help pay your rent, for whatever reason, then you can expect to fill out a lot of paperwork, hehehe.

Between those two sources, you should find a lot of resources available to you.

Good Luck
