No, MLB is extremely vigilant about policing their product. You used to be able to simply listen to a local broadcast to hear a particular team, but now you'll just get dead air. If you want something related to MLB, it's almost a sure thing that you'll have to pay.
On the positive side, a full season of Gameday Audio is only $14.99. I don't use it all that often - mostly just days when I'm stuck late in my office - but it's well worth the low price.

whoa, i want the answer to this too. I've looked before but never found anything other than MLB.com

there used to be, but the mlb restricted all web sites from airing mlb games since they introduced mlb gameday for a price

i don't know of any place to listen free but mlb.com has some very low prices

Try http://www.freebaseballradio.com/ you should be able to hear or see most, but not all games.
