when my dad died last year, my boyfriend of 8 years wouldn't go to the funeral with me
the same boyfriend didn't do anything for me on my golden birthday-no cake no present not even a home made card!!
needless to say-i left him- and he still wonders why

I have a depressive illness, so I get that way a lot. I am currently in a biochemical state of depression, which means nothing happened to "make" me depressed. I just am. It's a whole body experience also involving cold symptoms and muscle pain.

I've never been depressed really. I get up and ride my bike, listen to music, or hang out with friends when I start to feel a little depressed.

Uh... when I was 19. My bf broke up with me, my brother was beating me up, and I was 200 pounds without a clue as to what I'd major in. I didn't have any friends and would go on for days without talking to anyone... I was just miserable. So miserable I thought I wanted to die, and actually attempted suicide. But good thing I didn't die 'cause things are looking up now :-)

When I've missed my graduation day 10 years ago. I'm still depressed about it.

Almost suicidal. Actually...I wasn't really depressed then...I just didn't give a sh*t about life after I converted to atheism. Feelin' alright these days though.

totalling my car at the hands of alcohol and xanax combinations. no car after that. Life got really hard. I never felt so low in my life. I gave that life up. 120 days sober.
