I still have them running around and I never want it to stop. Mine are ages 4, 7 and 10 and it seems like they were just born yesterday! I never want them to grow up. I realize they will and this is why I try to savor each moment with them.

I miss them terribly, thankfully our daughter lives close and we see her regularly and just like right now, her 2 little ones spend every weekend with us. Sometimes our youngest sons children will come and stay for a couple of weeks but they live several hundred miles away so it's usually only twice a year for them.

Aw, that's so sweet! Like my mom says, if she knew how much fun grandkids were, she'd have had them years ago! We can always look forward to grandkids.
I know I will feel that way someday, time goes so quickly. I have a 17-yo that I'm kinda waiting for his time to leave the nest - teens have the ability to make you want them to leave - and I have a 5-yo & 3-yo. I'm just starting with them, and I can't imagine them leaving. I love my babies!

They are still at home but when they are at school I miss them. So I'm sure when they grow up I will be having a hard time with them leaving home.

Yes, that is what my neighbor said about her boys after they left home. I do not have any children because I chose to be a Professional with a Career as my child.

I don't have any kids of my own, but a couple years ago I "acquired" a house-full of teenagers and college-age kids (five of them!).
They drove me CRAZY. All the DRAMA. Everything was so FRAUGHT.
Then they all moved out.
I miss them :-))

Mine too sweetheart, but you will get over it I'm sure you will, I have to keep telling myself that or I'll go nuts, I'm sure I will. I hope you find something to fill the lonely hours I think that's why I am always on Yahoo.

Yes, I do. I miss my son horribly. Life was so much easier when he was small and still at home. I worry about him constantly. You just have to remember that you made it, and so will they. It's hard hearing your children having to take "hard knocks" in life. I miss him so much:-)
