Yep. I was on the pill for 8 years, stopped, and was pregnant within 2 weeks.

You most certainly can get pregnant after stopping the pill. You should ovulate about 10-14 days after the start of your last period. Having sex around this time may do it. Some women however take a few months to get pregnant.
Tip- having sex more than once a day will decrease your chances, as the sperm will start to temporarily dwindle if ejaclation is achieved more than 1-2 times a day. (Source: my obgyn)

Most OB's want you to wait at least 3 months after coming off the pill to get pregnant.

Absolutely! I was on the Nuva Ring. 2 weeks after I took it out, I was pregnant! Although, I will mention that I decided to take it out mid-cycle. I think that I had read that stopping in the middle of the cycle can increase your chances of getting pregnant. Worked for me! I now have a healthy 6 month old daughter!

Yes, my best friend stopped the pill, had a period, ovulated and by the next time her period was due ahe was already pregnant. I guess the rule of thumb is that you can get pregnant ANY time you have unprotected sex. Good Luck!
