I certainly am.

I'm so glad this is the last book. Hasta la vista, Harry. [[:

Dude, I'm not suggesting we ban the Harry Potter book, as well as all books, and then set the house of anyone who owns a book on fire...

Haha, calm down. Jeez.

Oh yes, kids are reading....

But they're reading about crazy wizards.

I don't know, but when they came out when I was in third grade or so, it seemed silly to me even then. I was more into Poe. But to each his own, I suppose?

(raises hand) Indeed. This is madness! I wanted to go down to the book store with my hubby bubby and have a spot of tea and check out some travel books. When I called for their hours, they reminded me quite politely..."Don't come unless you want a harry potty book~" I said "A harry potty what?" She replied "Oh the new harry potter book comes out and all the rubbish that goes with it." I rolled my eyes to my husband..."harry potter night" and he just groaned. So here we are...with a spot of tea answering questions about harry potty.

I wouldn't mind it so much if people wouldn't jonze like getting this book is more important than breathing. And what is with all the questions on what happens in the book and if he is going to die or not? Just buy (or borrow) it and read it. The first and the last to read it will still know the answer.

So yeah, I guess I am a little annoyed with all the hype. I am a bit glad this is the last book.

Whats wrong with Harry Potter? They're great books! Personally, my favorite. Would you rather our world become like Fahrenheit 451? Where books are banned because they cause people to have emotions other than a little happiness?

honestly, you can be tired and annoyed by it (everyone's entitled to your own opinions anyway!) but just coz you don't feel the same way as most other people doesn't mean you have to bash it too. just be glad people are finding an escape maybe from life problems or that kids are reading than causing trouble..☺

The books are mediocre at best. The movies are down right horrible. It's sad in my opinion to see older people being so obsessed with a children's book.

Thank you for posting your question! I want to see and hear about another Harry Potter book/movie like I want a bad case of Herpes. Harry Potter needs to go ahead and DIE! He and his cronnies need to go away- far away and never come back. I despise Potter and his quests. Thanks for having the same beliefs! Way to go!

I for one am glad that so many people (esp. young people) are interested in reading.

That's worth a bit of hype, IMHO.
