Yes i used to have that problem....& a lot of people liked me but then I realized I don't care if they liked me...
I didn;t like myself like that cuz it wasn't real....it wasn't me..
& you are not living your life for their approval...if they don;t like you...well then so be it...there are at least many others out there who will accept you for who you are & love you just like that..
being somebody else will eventually catch up to you & you will lead a miserable life always trying to win the approval of others...

Actually, people like me more when I am myself than when I pretend to be someone else. But with that said, I don't know if someone can love me for everything I am and am not. I am tired of pretending though.
I don't want anyone to love me during my broken state though. But there is only so much I can change. And I am not willing to give up my silly nature...

I do not pretend to be someone else. If no one ever loves me, then that is just the way it should be.

I've never pretended to be someone else, however for the first time in my life I have someone that truly loves me......and I mean all of me, including all the stuff that I consider bad that he lovingly refers to as "lovely"
And I gotta tell you it is the most amazing feeling in the world.

Indeed. I felt that way for a very long time... and I went through an identity crisis trying to be someone I wasn't. When I finally gave up, he found me. The more he learned about me, the more he loved me and the closer we became. I think he needs his head checked, but eh whatever.... he loves me so I can't complain. It will happen to you too.

Sometimes, but then I remember that I must be true to myself and love myself with flaws and all. If somebody doesn't love the true me then they can't love me at all. Nobody should have to pretend or hide who they are for anyone.

Yes, I feel like no one will ever love me and it feels like the person who claims to love me is just pretending.....I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I just want to be alone....life would be so much simpler, I think.

sometimes..but i prefer to be true to myself and if no one will love me for what i truly am then i would be much happier to be free and live the single life than to keep on pretending just to keep that fake love which will most probably end in heartaches...â¥
