Making the decision to take away the life support for my Dad! It still makes me sick thinking about it even though it was the right thing to do.

My Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome that I have in my right leg. Basically it's a chronic neurological condition that causes constant and severe pain, my pain never goes below a 7 and is often times a 10+(if the scale went above a 10) (on the 1-10 pain scale, 1 being the least, 10 being the worst). In the past year and a half I've had 6 major surgeries, and been in the hospital several times and nothing adds up to be nearly as bad as my nerve condition. I go weeks without sleep sometimes (thankfully sleep meds do help me get some sleep). I do have some hope even though it's hard to look at other normal teenagers and feel like such an outcast (I'm only 15).

Wow, mine was during a C-section when the pain meds wore off and I could feel the doc literally stitching me back together. My heart rate went so high the monitor starting beeping and the nurse injected something into my IV and seconds later I was feeling no pain and on cloud 9.

I can't really say any of my football injuries hurt, because i know the pain was bad because i blacked out and when i woke up i was in the hospital. But there was that one time i got hit in the nuts on a tackle. It hurt very much, and it was cold that game too.

Period cramps. Incapacitating. When they hit, i need to just collapse and sleep the pain off. If i can fall asleep with the pain. Every month.
