Hello everyone! I am currently a Sprint customer, and my cell phone is an "added on" line to an existing family plan (I am not the account owner, only related to them.) I would like to upgrade to an iPhone, and want to use that number on my iPhone. I was wondering how to remove my cell phone from the family plan, how much it costs, and what else I should be expecting. Thanks everyone!

If you do decide to go with ATT do not shut off your service with Sprint until you port your number from Sprint to ATT. Once you do that everything should be OK.
Also, if you decide to switch all because of the iPhone and want to keep your Sprint number you will pay a $200 cancellation fee to Sprint. (assuming you or whoever signed the contract still has months remaining on the contract). Even if you are out of any contract obligation with Sprint do not turn off the Sprint account until Sprint ports it to ATT or you will lose that number.

She will have to pay the early termination fee. Depending on your phone and when you got it, that's either $350 less $10 for each completed month of your contract or $175 less $5 for each completed month. As long as you don't port your number to Sprint, you could keep your line open with Verizon and still have a Sprint account. If you port your number, the early termination fee will be triggered.

if the contract isn't over , then you have to pay the cancel fee. If the contract is over, then it's free
