I've been researching why some people are moving out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and here's what I have come up:

- Increased crime rate in the city
- UHaul and the gov over repairing the streets
- People breaking the law and "in-suite smoking"
- Winter
- Taxes

Most people move for work, and better pay. And when BC, Alberta and even Ontario tend to have better job prospects than the rest of Canada. Although Manitoba has held it's own, I don't think it has been a hot market.

So even that, if you have a chance to move to a slightly better job, in a lower crime area or a more mild winter, you are still likely to move.

Canada is the most awesome place in the universe. They actually have the least crime rate in the world, so if you go there, you're pretty safe. The streets are being repaired, but, hey, people don't move out of New York for that reason. There are less smokers in Canada than on the subway, yes, there is a lot of winter, but hey, it's Canada, that's what's expected, and the taxes aren't any higher there than in the US.

Well pretty much every major city has increased crime rate, I know a lot of places that are repairing streets, everywhere you go people break the law, winter hits most people, and everyone pays taxes....well most people do.

Only idiots leave because of winter, you know thats going to be when you live there, and it's in like 99% of the world.

Anyone is going to need to repair the streets sooner or later. And as sas as it is, every large city will have crime.

You can not know the exact reason why someone moves, unless you ask them.

You can't just claim these reasons to be the be all-end all reasons. All people move for different reasons..some may be the same.

It is "Do your parents know about this?" because of subject verb agreement. The verb is do know and the subject is parents. If you switch the verb and subject around to make a sentence, the plural "parents" becomes "parents do know" which makes alot more sense than "parents does know"
