Yes, for a woman running for a seat on Congress. I actually liked it because we called registered voters and they would debate the merits of the candidate with us. And I had fun coworkers.
I wouldn't do it now but I liked it then.

I worked as a telemarketer for ONE night years ago. I hated it!! I leaned on my elbow for so long while I was phoning that I pinched a nerve in it. The 'boss' was sadistic and then they wouldn't pay me for two weeks. I would never do anything like that again.
