Jake, Billy, and Stephanie each play a different sport. One plays basketball, one plays football, and one plays soccer. Jake cannot dribble or wear pads. Stephanie does not play football. What sport does billy play?

Jake plays soccer.
Stephanie plays basketball
Billy plays football.
*Jake plays soccer because you need to know how to dribble in basketball and wear pads in football.
(remember each play a different sport)
*Stephanie plays basketball because soccer is already taken by Jake and she doesn't play football.
*Billy plays football because that is the only sport left.

Billy has to play football, since, Jake can not dribble so he plays soccer, and stephanie does not play football, and she plays basketball since Jake plays soccer.

okay, here ya go....Jake doesn't wear pads or dribble, so he doesn't play football or basketball...that leaves soccer. So, Jake plays soccer. Stephanie doesn't play football, and since we know Jake plays soccer, we know she doesn't play soccer, either. That leaves basketball for Stephanie. Since Jake plays soccer, and Stephanie plays basketball, that leaves Billy as the football player.

Stephanie does not play football. There is one sport per person. So, if Jack plays soccer and Stephanie does not play football, the only other sport for Stephanie to play is basketball.
So if Jack = Soccer AND Stephanie = Basketball
Billy play's FOOTBALL.

stephanie plays basketball, billy plays football and jake plays soccer. even though you dribble in soccer and in basketball , you don't wear pads in basketball but dribbling in basketball is harder htan in soccer. jake couldn't play football because of the pads. if stephanie is not playing football and jake can only play soccer than stephanie has to play basketball.
