what happens when we [as a society] disrespect other people?
i see kids disrespecting other kids. adults disrespecting other adults. but WHY is it bad? what happens to the person disrespecting and what happens to the person disrespected?
you kno that saying: treat others how you'd want to be treated.
what if the person doesn't care how they're treated. HOW WOULD BEING DISRESPECTFUL BE A PROBLEM?
i know the following reasons: they're bad because that's how they were brought up; its bad because you won't get treated the same way. any more?

years ago men used { Sir } in order to not get knocked off their chair . now days, no one gets knocked off their chair, it used to be that women were the jewel that men adored, now women don't want to be treated differently, no wonder we get so confused about who to respect and who not to ....sir is only given to those who ask for it....and women are treated the same.....

You without realizing it pretty much stated the problem. It becomes an epidemic that keeps on going. Most kids who are disrespectful saw it some where else first. Adults that do it usually have been around it enough that it is a way of life for them. You ask what is wrong. Well for starters if you open a paper you can't go a day without seeing someone murdered or beat up. If you read the whole article many times it is because the person either disrespected someone in the family,the girlfriend or the other person. The kids today pull the trigger first and then think of what ifs. The treating one the way you wanted to be treated does not really apply to this. Being disrespectful is just plain ignorant and uncalled for. My theory is if you do not have anything nice to say then say nothing at all.

Because its rude, and can potentially scar a person for life, depending on how much a kid was picked on when he was younger.
Being disrespectful will make people hate you, and you will be miserable, simple as that.
