Heroin - injected, snorted or smoked, highly addictive, ellicit drug, gives a "high", use to be used as a painkiller, directly impacts the brain, opiate.

Oxycotin - swallowed but can be snorted or injected, highly addicitive, prescription drug, does not give high is used as prescribed but when used recreationally has similair type high to heroin, used as painkiller, synthetic,

Beyond that, you'd have to ask someone who's done both. Considering the higly addictive nature and mortality rate of the addicts of both, that might be difficult.

The correct term is OxyContin, and it is an "opioid agonist, schedule 2 " narcotic drug similar to morphine. It is meant ONLY for opioid-tolerant patients because it can cause death from respiratory depression if abused. The controlled-release tablets should be swallowed whole, NOT broken, chewed, or crushed (hence, your "line") because it leads to the release and absorption of a potentially fatal dosage of Oxycodone.
Heroin is a white or brown powder processed from morphine, the natural occurring substance taken from the seed pod of the Asian poppy plant. Abuse of it can result in death as well, plus spontaneous abortion, collapsed veins, and diseases like HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis (especially Hepatitis C). Short-term effects can appear after only 1 dose, and the more it is used, the more dangerous it is. Other, long-term effects include clouded mental functioning due to depression of the central nervous system; collapsed veins; infection of the heart lining and valves; abscesses; liver disease; various types of pneumonia; etc. Heroin sold on the street often has other additives--sometimes even rat poisons, etc--to make the dealer's supply go farther. As time goes on, the user needs more and more of the drug to get the same effects he/she had with the first dose and this causes physical dependence and addiction. Withdrawal symptoms include restlessness, muscle and bone pain, insomnia, diarrhea, vomiting, cold flashes and "goose bumps", and kicking motions.

you usually don't do a line of either . One is pill form, the other you have to shoot up or smoke it. H,puts you on a real high, oxycotin doesn't

not much difference but that heroin is cut with a lot of different chemicals and you will never know what is actually in it. oxycotin is created in a lab so there are no additives to it.

So.....whats the point?

The reason for "snorting" any drug is to get the drug into the system as fast as possible as close to the brain as possible, although I woundnt try to snort a heron, their beaks get stuck in the septum.

Ask Rush "Mr. Oxy" Limbaugh (limpballs) when you can get him to turn his attention away from being "serviced" by teens of both genders in the Dominican Republic? :))
