CAN they? They ARE. How happy are YOU that the stock market made the 14,000 mark this week?

Whoo-hoo! How much do you have invested... you know after paying your bills and feeding your family and paying insurance and sending your kids to college? WELL, whatever you have left to invest, this news should just tickle you.

The constitution? George Bush LAUGHS at that word. Oh, forgive me, he probably just doesn't understand it. He's broken so many constitutional laws .......... Watch Lou Dobbs or listen to Air America if you want to hear what's really going on.

The rich?!??? The "rich" are what makes this country operate. How do you think companies get started? Did you know that when a company starts, people get jobs??? Ever make that connection? Where do you think investment capital come from? Where do you think most of the charitable giving comes from?? Your disdain and jelousy of the wealthy shows your ignorance.

Simply because you live in America, you have the opportunity to become "rich." Your attitude and your outlook will determine your success. If you want to whine about someone because they have more money than you, go ahead. You are one less person I have to compete with to be prosperous.

As for the Consitituion, can you think of one single instance where a rich person has done anything to deny you any of your Constitutional rights? I mean YOU, personnally. I didn't think so.

Complacency is what is destroying America. The constitution is only as powerful as we the people allow it to be. At this point though, I'd say it's pretty much been nullified.

The apathetic are a far greater problem than the rich.

They did much to build it as well. They are not the enemy, and they're citizens like any other. And as many of them (proportionately) are jerks as "regular" people are - it's just that their jerkness is magnified and more obvious.
