I think at a good restaurant an half hour is a fair time.

I will wait 30-40 minutes as long as I have a cocktail to sip. What really gets me is the people who won't wait 15-20 minutes and decide to drive somewhere else. They will spend 10-15 minutes getting there and get on another wait. Or maybe they just get fast food, who knows

I'm not. I'm often a spur of the moment kind of person, but for a good restaurant I will call ahead to reserve a good table.

Sometimes we wait, it depends on the hour you goto the resturant, go after 8 and you get a table right away.

If this is one of my favorite places, then I have no problem waiting 30 minutes to an hour.
