I don't understand it either.I'm going to wait for the movie on it then buy the DVD.I hate crowds and it's not worth waiting in line to buy any book.

actually i have a very full life and absolutely love the potter books! if u would and could read them u might find out what it is all about...no offense honey but, don't judge the book by it's cover! the movies will never capture the books! u need to read them to understand everything that is going on. this is a coming of age/inner struggle/good vs. evil/ loyalty and character building/ all around entertaining book. sure it is about a boy and sure there is magic and stuff but that is not what the stories are really about. and yeah i do take it personal.....i am a very educated woman w/a child who loves harry. i am also an educator who likes to keep up w/what my students r reading. it is actually very fun and interesting to discuss the books w/ different age people. my 4th graders are reading just to find out what happens next. i think it is a pretty powerful thing that encourages kids to read and read w/enthusiasm. people who read it get it! see my point?

I wouldn't wait like 24 hours in a line just for a book.... my life is busy and dosen't involve fictional books..... I also wouldnt wait in long lines to see a boring 3 hour movie like the last one, I fell asleep then woke up and flet like kicking my self in the butt for weeks......

Hey! I just happen to be one of those "Lifeless" people! I waited for 35 minutes to get a TICKET for the book! Maybe if you read the books you'd like them, but until you've read the books for yourself, you shouldn't insult aprecciaters of great literature!
P.S. Alot of people like it just cuz Dan Radcliffe and Ruprt Grint are hot! (Ya, they are hot! But i liked HP BEFORE I saw the movies!)
PPS I don't think insults are great ways to get answers!

Go check it out. The place across the street is handing out free compassion and understanding, too. You might want to try it.
