does the government and its input sway/influence your ideas or thoughts?

i think the democrats are right in their actions. although they are sometimes making it out to be like it is going to happen tomorrow. it is still an impending situation and it is getting worse and without people noticing it and doing something about it it will get worse. what do you think? do people need to fear this phenomenon more to do something?

It's not going to be easy.

People have been abusing the earth for generations, and so I doubt we'll be able to change our ways in just a couple of years. I think we should start by trading in our Escalades and Explorers for Hybrids and go from there.

Well i think this is an issue where we all have to act together, Al Gore has been promoting global warming so we can see the damage it can cause to us, we are seeing the consequences now.

All of the climate changes we are living are because of it, if we save the most energy we can it will surely help a lot, we can reduce carbon dioxiode emissions by changing our light bulbs as well as not using energy we don't need.

I think people has to experience for themselves to start taking action.

I agree that sometimes they make it seem like it's going to happen tomorrow, although it isn't going to happen exactly tomorrow it will happen eventually, we might not be able to reach other 50 years because the global warming will kill us, the climate conditions now are very high or very low, for example in the summer we get more than 100 degrees and in winter we are getting -10, at least where i live it wasn't like that before, sure it was hot and cold but not that much.

In conclusion, we all have to act together, take the most action we can to save our planet for the future generations.

Do I believe global warming is happening? Yes. Most scientists seem to say that it is happening.

Do I believe that humans are the cause or even a major cause? No, I haven't seen any indisputable evidence for it. Al Gore's hypotheses have already been shown to be incorrect, yet he keeps pushing them out there. Sounds more like a personal crusade than a man-made ecological disaster. Makes him happy by feeding his ego and self-importance. He doesn't seem worried about it enough to cut down his energy consumption though. I don't even want to go into that 'carbon offset' swindle. Makes Al a nice living, though.

This stuff is being based on climate models that can't accurately predict next week's weather, or last year's for that matter. And we're going to wreck whole economies based on this? I'd rather not.

There've been cyclical global climate changes long before man became industrialized. Not that you hear this in the media much. Not sexy enough, I guess.

Having said all that, there is a bright spot to this climate hysteria. Now that many people are worried (whether for good reason or not), they are more open to changing those lightbulbs or buying that hybrid car. Saving energy is a good thing whether you believe in climate change or not.

At the very least, it will encourage corporations to put out 'green' technologies. This is a very good thing.

Who knows? Maybe we can stop burning fossil fuels someday and not have to send money to middle-eastern maniacs anymore. Wouldn't that be nice?

No party dares to discuss the chief reason for global warming. They would be immediately ground into cattle feed by the vested interests of population growth.

How do you think that Johnson & Johnson with all their factories churning out thousands of products would feel about a decresing population. Churches make their money from births, weddings, burials and other ceremonies in between. How do they react to the concept of population control.

Humans are far more powerfdul than thoughtful.

Whatever one fears, one attracts, not always in the same form but never-the-less the result will be the same. Intense vulnerability attracts intense manifestations of the same or similar vibrational ilk. There is nothing new under the sun especially when it comes to universal laws.

who knows that this is really global warming!! it seems that a lot of people who are talking about the present happening have other agendas and motives on everything regarding how to solve the so-called global warming thats happening right now....if there is really such a thing that happening now then it must have started about a century ago and they are just talking about it now. why not 90 yrs, ago, or 60 yrs. ago why only now.

It's certainly negative, but 50% of the cause is fault, and 50% is completely natural. 25 years ago it was global cooling, truly the democrats are making such a big deal out of this but I can't blame them. We should act for the betterment, but as of yet no one seems to care about global warming at all except for the democrats.

I think global warming is a sign how we abused the mother earth. It is a sign for us to rehabilitate it the soonest. A sign that we neglect nature. What people wants is their advancement for the sake of industrial development rather than focusing more on the development of the environment. If not, we will really suffer from great calamities if we will just seat on it and allow this to happen. Let us all move on and save while it has still time ---- please for the sake of Mother Nature.!

I am to be swayed of the facts and the arithmetic's. It is a mathematical certainty that it is happening, but worry? The Will is positive, and the Judgment is negative. I am positive for life on this planet and negative for their suffering. Do what you are able. Self ought not be unjust to self. The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

The scariest part of your question is that global warming has nothing to do with philosophy. It's 100% science.
