its PEMDAS parenthesis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract so:
((700x6)+600)/2-523=1877

or in order of PEMDAS would be:
(700X6)/2 +600-523=2177

you get 2 different answers depending on how the question is read

Is it a word problem with commas like you wrote it? If so, I'm thinking the equation looks like this:
(((700x6)+600)/2)-523 = 1877

I have no idea what BEDMAS is.

((4200 + 600)/2) - 523 =
(4800/2) - 523 =
2400 -523 =
