I do believe that the original purpose was to be able to ask questions and hopefully someone would give you the answer that you are looking for. But some way, some how....well anyway you get the point.

Yahoo Answers give the people that ask the question information from a lot of people. The Asker can evaluate the information they receive and hopefully it will help to solve the question they asked.
