Hey im 13 and even though i have a long way to go. Do you guys find it unattractive if a girl wants to be a heart surgeon? Like do you think that is wierd or creepy?
Girls do you think thats wierd for a girl to want to be that?
Thanks so much. Reason why im asking is when i tell someone i want to be that there like..okay. Its not that i like blood and guts lol but i want to save peoples lifes. + the medical field intrests me.

In health we had to watch a heart sugery *movie* and my friends were screaming with there eyes closed "eww i was like watching it and like cool lol

I think that's awesome, what an amazing thing to be able to "fix" someone's heart & give them more time with their family. People are probably just surprised because that is not your everyday job, very detailed, lots of learning and if it interests you & you would love to do that, then you should go for it! You'll have a career you love & you'll make a whole big mountain of money (potentially)! hee hee =) Stay humble.
Just do me a favor, when you're a rich heart surgeon, don't park your mercedes in the red zone at the ATM. I need to use the driveway too. lol

No, being a heart surgeon is a respectable and great job. Their is nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be a doctor, I' am all for girls going into the medical, law, and science fields. Their is nothing creepy, weird or unattractive about it. If that is your passion then do it.

There's nothing unattractive about that. I think it's fine if you want to be a heart surgeon. You'll be a life saver someday. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about your choices.

What do you care if a guy finds it unattractive? If they do, then they are not worth your time.
And I respect your ambition. :) My dad has always wanted me to enter the medical field, but I chose finance instead. I get dizzy at the sight of blood!

No. I am 13 and I find it quite attractive that a girl actually wants to do something with their future instead of dancing on polls or taking orders drive thru windows.
