The way you pronounce isn't all that different than Asa, which is a name!
ASA
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Biblical, Jewish
Other Scripts: אָסָא (Hebrew)
Pronounced: AY-sa [key]
Means "doctor" in Hebrew. This name was borne by a king of Judah in the Old Testament.
ÅSA- Gender: Feminine
Usage: Swedish
Short form of Old Norse feminine names beginning with the element áss "god".
This one isn't horrible; other than the envitable nickname "***".

I don't dislike it, I think it looks really pretty written, but I did like some of the other pronunciations I saw better than Ace-yuh.

I like the name. But until I read how, I had no idea how to pronounce it, that might cause some problems with naming somebody that or something. But it is a nice name.

Well, it's interesting, but think of the child going through school, then the child as an adult, trying to get jobs.
You might consider this for a middle name, instead.
