I do.

So no one says I tricked them. This would include abortion.

There's been a suggestio that the wording should be "all people," if you wish to comment on that aspect.

I believe ALL people should have control over their own bodies / selves, both male and female.
Governments have no business with trying to do so, as it relegates us all to being reproductive slaves of the State.
Those who call themselves Christians and then try to determine another's biology aren't Christians, they're deluded hypocrites.

I don't believe it should be a tenet, no. I believe it should be an inalienable right. Apparently at present it is not, since the government thinks they need to make "laws" about how people can control their bodies... men and women both.

Yes. I believe that women are smart enough to be in control of their bodies, and this includes birth control, medication, operations, and even abortion. No one knows better than the woman in question if she needs to have an abortion because it could destroy her life, endanger her physically, or harm her emotionally.

Men are also capable of being in control of their own bodies as well.

Hmm. I sometimes wonder, you know, is it really fair, for a woman, to allow herself to be impregnated, and then to say "my body, my choice?" Wouldn't the modern educated woman who believes "my body, my choice" know not to get impregnated in the first place? Secondly, and believe you me, I am not here to start a fight, Does not the mentality "my body, my choice apply to the fetus? Why doesn't the fetus have a choice? I think, if a woman were to truly be responsible, and to legitimately claim "my body, my choice" she would have to be responsible enough to take the known and necessary steps to avoid the situation to where this whole argument begins. You see, abortion, is not the solution nor the problem. Irresponsible sexual conduct is the base core of the problem. Oh, BTW? don't get all "high and mighty on me and say "what about rape?" How many rapes result in unwanted pregnancies compared to the reckless sexual conduct of people acting like they "didn't know" you could get pregnant the "first time"? c'mon people grow up.

Yes, who says I need the government or other people to tell me how to behave and what I should do with my own body? Screw them. :)
