If your child told you their doll was alive and trying to kill them and strange things had been happening around the house would you believe him/her?

That depends on the age of the child. If they are at the age where they know the difference between right and wrong and the consequences for telling tall tales, or if I know that they have a vivid imagination then maybe I'd play along for the purpose of making sure they were ok. I wouldn't stop them from their fantasies unless those fantasies were causing them nightmare or abnormal behavior patterns. Fantasies can be helpful for some children to cope with problems if the parent keeps tabs on the childs actions.

lol what an awesome question.

You know, if my daughter thought a doll was trying to kill her, I would DEFINITELY get rid of it. Not even because I thought it might actually kill my daughter, but there's obviously something weird about the doll that would provoke her to think that it would.

Then I'd take my daughter to therapy. =D

Well I love the movie.
If my kid told me he/she had a killer
doll I'd laugh then take the doll and give
it to someone I hate.
