Yes, the bank note paper formulation changes from country to country. To buy the best counterfeit bank note paper for USD or Euro, go to North Korea. I read they make counterfeit currency that are very good (as are its nuclear technology). At a whim, they might also put you in a gulag for the rest of your life for trying to compete with them in counterfeiting.

Every country has their own formulation for the 'materials' they use to produce legal tender. The operative word here is "legal"

first its bank note 2nd you cant just buy it idiot, thats asking for trouble. yes it varies country to country. and if your thinks about making fake money your bound to get caught, they catch you by the mark every printer leaves on paper that it prints on.

In the US, it's called rag paper, and you cannot buy it.
