I am the only one in the store as far as I am concerned. Self centered maybe, but I dont know these people, nor do I care about what they are doing.

I'm alot like you, Bistro. I keep my focus on what I'm doing. The only time I will really look is if I see a really beautiful woman. I know, I am a girl and I'm strait. But I can't help but admire her and wonder how she does it. I never look at men - unless they are strikingly gorgeous - I think because I already have a man and I'm completely faithful.

If I have limited time, I tend to keep a straight eye ahead. However, if the pace is slower, then I enjoy watching all the people and what they are doing. In fact, I traveled a lot when I was working, so there were many hours between flights at the airport. I rather enjoyed watching the people come and go. I would try to imagine where they were headed and what type of job they had.

It depends on where I am. In a store, I see no reason to look at people who are doing the same boring thing I am - shopping. But if I'm someplace like a park, a seashore, a carnival - well, half the fun is watching other people.

I look around enough to know what goes on around me and would notice if someone were up to no good . I'm usually with a family member and I'm very protective and aware that bad people exist and can show up anywhere , anytime though I'm not paranoid about it . It's a habit I picked up working for a private security service for several years .

straight eye ahead unless some comotion is going on. But I'm always scared of attracting attention to myself so yeah just a straight eye ahead.

These days it pays to keep your eyes out for suspicious looking characters or something out of the ordinary. It is never good to let your guard down. You may prevent something bad from happening to yourself or someone else. I do my best to notice what is going around me.

I want to know whats going on around me.I have been jumped from behind to many times not to glance around.I'm not gonna stare at nobody and I don't give a damn what your doing as long as I know you ain't gonna be messing with me!

Well, it depends on what you mean by watching them. I am always very aware of my surroundings and what others are doing around me.....for my safety. However, I don't 'watch' people out of curiosity. My husband does that, especially while we are eating, and it drives me crazy.
