JRP in every area is a scam. It's a song and dance school which will cost a great deal of money, and keep you on the line (paying) with the pats on the head that someday you'll be famous. Run away! Find a community theater where they will charge you NOTHING to participate and gain experience and learn from fun and interesting people.

It's not a scam, but it won't help you much more than taking classes in High School and College for a lot less money will or working at a small theater for free helping out and audtioning for all the plays.

Yes its a scam and so is Barbizon!! Dont do either. Anyone who makes you pay that much for classes and an agent is a scam. Your not even supposed to pay for agents. Go find a community theatre.

I agree with the majority. I took my stepdaughters in to JRP with their mother for a modeling assessment (which I disagreed with at their age), but wanted to check the agency out.
I don't know what you'd like to do, but save your money and time - reinvest your energy doing some honest footwork of your own.

She's right. You will not gain anything going to JRP. You will lose lots of time, effort and money. In Chicago there are more reputable schools of acting/
