Like if I say a remark for example, one person might think "oh what an idiot." "I don't care, thats's a lie." "Oh I never knew that." and so forth. So sometimes when you say something people might get the wrong message of what your trying to tell them. I've just thought about this, I'm wondering how many of you have mistakenly thought of something someone said and interpereted it in the wrong way. I admit I have, and everyone makes mistakes.

Ew good question! I do this alot to my boyfriend! Because I have been emotionally f*ck*d with in the past, I have a tendency to read waaaaaay too much into what he is saying to me. Therefore I misinterpret him alot... I'm working on it though!

People interpret according to their own prejudices and faulty thinking unless they apply a deliberate open mind, sound reasoning & logic interspersed with the desire to seek the truth. So YES I agree with your statement.

totally true haven't you ever had that experience? i mean you say something and mean it in a good way but then all of a sudden you have all these people hounding you like you meant it in a bad way!

Everyone filters what they hear through their life experiences.
I always thought that life was a series of misunderstandings.

I agree with the first answer. However, I also think it depends on their experiences or how sensitive they are.
