...Personally I don't believe people are born gay...
My son (3) likes playing with "Boy" toys, and more "girl-ish" toys... but, why should little girls be able to play with dolls and kitchen sets? My husband loves cooking, he sees his dad cook, and he wants to, too. I knit... he likes to play with yarn, and I help him make things. He has a soccer doll he likes to play with, and some stuffed animals he's gotten. I don't think he's gay. He's just playing.
Kids don't necessarily know (or care...) that pink is for girls and blue is for boys (that's just an example...), they just know what they like.
But, I'm not gay, the only people I know who are gay were "heterosexual" throughout most of the time I knew them (friends from highschool or college that are now gay...then they were gay and didn't know it or didn't want to admit it...) So, I don't know if you can be born gay... but I would have to say, Biblically, people are not born gay. (if you'd like some verses, e-mail me.)

I saw a documentary on TV once where there were 2 boys (twins). One had the characteristics of a typical boy (cars, camoflauge, swords, etc), the other had the characteristics of a girl (he had his room decorated in all pink with a net over the bed and furry boas around the room, he liked to paint his fingernails and play with all girl stuff. His mother said that they were treated exactly the same from birth (these kids were 6 years old). The documentary also used a study to show that it doesn't matter how a kid was raised, it's what is inside him that makes him gay, if he acts gay during youth, then he will probably be gay as an adult. So I say, yes, you are born gay and it doen't matter how your raised.

I think just about everyone remembers back in kindergarten and 1st grade, little boys who threw the ball "like a girl", liked to play with the dolls instead of the trucks, didn't like competitive-type physical games, and were just different than the other boys.
These kids were made fun of and by the time they were in 2nd or 3rd grade, these were the kids everyone grouped up on at recess and made teased and taunted them.
Yeah, people are born gay. And it shows, for many of them, at a very young age. There is quite a lot of scientific evidence that shows that certain areas of gay men's brains, as adults, resemble that of women more than men. And vise-versa.

scientific researchers who concentrate on human sexuality have shown that homosexuality is correct to organic and organic and genetic factors. A link to genetics does not advise that homosexuality is set by a unmarried gene, yet may be a mixture of different genetic factors. Even the extremely conservative president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has pronounced that scientific study "factors to 3 point of organic and organic causation" for homosexuality & "i'm actually valuable that a super variety of homosexuals are telling the actuality while they say they did no longer choose for that orientation." An October 2004 scientific study booklet reported that scientists on the college of Padua have chanced on that ladies human beings tend to have greater infants while they inherit a similar genetic factors correct to homosexuality in men. This fertility strengthen better than compensates for the shortcoming of offspring fathered by gay men, and keeps the “gay” genetic factors in stream. yet another learn revealed in Human Genetics in February 2006 examined X chromosome inactivation in mothers of gay sons and mothers whose sons weren't gay. Researchers chanced on extreme adjustments between women people who had gay sons and girls people who did no longer. A Canadian college learn revealed in June of 2006 reported that, notwithstanding researchers have time-honored for years that a guy's probability of being gay rises with the variety of older organic and organic brothers, that the recent learn chanced on that the so-referred to as "fraternal start order result" persists whether gay men have been raised faraway from their organic and organic households.

Well, it's highly suspected that a person who is gay, was born that way. But I'm pretty sure it hasn't been 100% proven as of yet.

YES. Sex is determined at birth.... You cannot turn gay, no one can change you into a gay person, you cannot catch "gayness". This has been proven by the medical committee. It all has to do with how the brain is formed in the womb, combined with the combination of genetics.

My mother's best friend had a son who had homosexual tendencies starting at a very young age. It went further than just being curious too. So yes, I think some people are born gay, and some are just a product of their environment, not that it is a bad thing either way.

People are born gay...but it usually isn't that evident until they reach sexual maturity and by definition, are sexually attracted to the opposite sex. Yes, in retrospect, I was gay at 7 or 8...but I didn't realize why I was different until years later.
