I'll make myself take a nap if I'm cranky, if lack of sleep is the reason why, and my schedule allows for it. If there are other reasons why I'm cranky, a nap just won't solve it and you'll have to deal with it, I'm afraid.

No, but I have suggested to him that he take a nap because he's cranky. No man can "make" me do anything, btw.

Yep. Well, kinda. He has never MADE me do anything. He has recommended it tho. He knows that I get cranky when I am tired. He even goes so far as to get the couch ready for me... makes up the couch like a bed for me with my pillow and a blanket., and gets the fan turned on for me. I love it. I am 21 years old and love naps, so usually it isnt an issue anyways... most of the time, I am the one recommending HE takes a nap.

I've learned to control my anger, and if I was upset the person I'm in a relationship with would be more sentimental then that. They would try and find out why I was upset and/or make me feel better. Honestly I would think very poorly to someone who would try to take the easy way out and try to put me down for a nap

Another classic. What are you doing, going through a parenting manual?
Chapter 1 - Age Appropriate Consequences For Your Child
Ladies, has your man ever made you stand in the corner (or something similar) for talking back to him?
Chapter 2 - When Your Child Repeats You
Ladies, does your man ever tell you not to use foul language? Do you obey him?
Chapter 3 - Developing Sexuality
Ladies, when your man takes charge, 'lays down the law', and tells you what to do, do you feel more feminine?
Chapter 4 - Fathers: Appropriate Roles
Ladies, do you like to look at your husband or boyfriend as kind of a "father figure" in your life?
Chapter 5 - Positive Reinforcement
Ladies, do you like it when your husband calls and tells you that "you have been such a good girl lately"?
Chapter 6 - Using the Parental Control Feature
Ladies, has your man ever blocked out television programs that he thought were inappropriate for women to see?
Chapter 7 -Teaching Your Child to Use a Knife
Ladies, when cutting up a banana for your husband or boyfriend's cereal do you slice it to his specifications?
Chapter 8 -Age Appropriate Movie Ratings
Do you think there should be a MG (Male Guardian required) rating for certain movies to protect women?
And my personal favorite:
Chapter 9 - Teaching Your Child Appropriate Destruction of Other People's Property
Do you find it acceptable for a man to take his g/f or wife's car radio out if she listens to gansta rap on it.
Sandstorm, darlin', there aren't enough naps in a day.....

Nope, just because I am cranky doesn't mean I am tired.
