This is my story. Sometime in mid-February I got the flu (of the serious kind)and I was really sick for about a week. When I finally had the strength to get out of bed, I was checking my e-mails and there it was "floating" on my screen ---yahoo@answers...that was Feb. 26...it was love at first sight! I didn't report for work till Mar. 5....yes, I "recuperated" right here at Y!A.....YAP was much later and another story.

Firstly Inday CUTE ng CUTE
I used Yahoo for searching the web. I thought that Answers was like a chat forum which didn't interest me. One day I decided to have a look and liked what I saw, so in November 2006 I joined. while looking through the different catergories I stumbled upon YAP. It was two or three days before I was able to get up enough courage to post my first answer (I was always worried that as a foreigner I might be told to **** off)
My first answer was : http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ahqe8XAI9hgN6qbNYL4mUqnh5gt.?qid=20061104230359AA08pbO&show=7#profile-info-f4d03a613224ce6ab3e0ae1e717776e5aa

May 28, 2007 .... On that boring day, I was so lazy to do some research. Then, innocently I had click the word Answers at the left side of yahoo homepage. Then, there were so many questions that I had seen. The thing that caught my eye was the Spiritual and Religion stuff. For I am a bible reader.

A few days later, I discovered this Philippine site. It's kinda fun in this place and lots of good people. So, I stay in here. To have fun the way I wanted.

I used to have the Yahoo! Toolbar downloaded onto the computer (until it caused a memory problem). The standard buttons were: mail, my, answers, and games. I used the three other buttons as shortcuts, so obviously, I wondered what Answers was. When I first set up my Yahoo! Mail account and had a question about what the flags were, I used Yahoo! Search and then Yahoo! Mail Search to no success until I saw, "No results. Redirect query to Yahoo! Answers?" So, I checked out the site, found out how it works, and set up a profile. That's how I found out about Y/A. It was about May 2007 when I first set up my profile.

Sometime ago I saw a link to Answers at the main page of one my yahoogroups. I followed it to ask a question but ended up being a lurker for a while. It was April this year when I started answering math questions, as well as transportation, computers, electronics questions, before discovering YAP, where I was warmly welcomed by a yapster from Texas.

I discover it last year 2006 since it started, because everyday I checked my Yahoo Mail. That time I was busy with my work and don't have time getting around with it.

Just last month I saw at Yahoo front page about somebody asking something and I want to answer.

Last July, I was sitting in a Yahoo orientation and one of the guest speakers was some big name Yahoo guy. He started talking about Answers and couldn't believe that so many of us didn't know about it. Needless to say, after he mentioned it, I opened the laptop back up and started using it. I don't remember what else what said at that meeting because I was so busy browsing.

I was looking up the song You by Lloyd, because I didn't know what the song was. Someone on Yahoo Answers had asked the question, and I found out what the song was. Then I made an account and started anwering questions.

i came here because i needed an answer to a question and that ASK YAHOO ANSWERS kept on coming. After the question i really didn't bother answering until i came across the question by queen rania and later on by paolo coelho. then it started to be fun answering questions. eventually i found out about YAP (i didn't say this before) because of you! i think i caught up with you at Polls and Survey.

as my registration date says... 'twas kinda boring on that day so i did a lot of internet browsing & practically click everything. The YA got my attention the most & didn't waste anytime to log-in and since then am here. Couldn't pass the day w/out dropping by except on weekends. Got lots of great infos & sharing in here..plus loads of laughters.

I was wanting to know things about curly hair and I googled it and then came to yahoo answers. This was like a month ago. I love it! I answer all sorts of weird stuff on here. It's entertaining like no other.
