I am going to be 120 years old, shopping at a grocery store...
WHEN...
A can of "Whole Chicken in a Jar" rolls off the shelf and knocks me in the head...
and I die...

My mom told me that my second grade teacher (a young, attractive woman as I remember) told my mom during a parent teacher conference that she thought I was going to die by being shot by the husband of a woman I was having an affair with.
Of course, that was back in 1969 and some of those people were a litle loopy.

Well, I suppose that the cancer that is in my lymph nodes below my right jaw may do me in. I just had a huge mass of squamous cancer removed from my right tonsil on June 29th. I'm getting ready to get chemotherapy and radiation treatments to shrink the cancer cells I have left. If I survive the 8 weeks of treatments, I may have a 50% survival rate, but it is lower than that at this time, because I'm at Stage 4 of four stages. Sorry if that is TMI (too much information), but it is in the front of my mind much lately and, what the hell, you asked.

Reading some of the responses you've gotten here has made me feel like I'm about to die. Maybe if I wait around and read some more it'll happen.

Hopefully in my sleep with family around me...actually I wouldn't want my family to watch me die. I hope rather I die old and peacefully in my bed and my caretaker/nurse discovers me instead of a family member.

i think i will probably get to an age where i start to become dependent...or have the need to be dependent and off myself
