Me and a friend were talking and he says the White sox are an "organization" while the cubs are a "team"

I feel the cubs are more of the organization because they go out and buy players (Soriano, possibly A-Rod), and have managers like Lou Pinella while the white sox have a former player as their manager

What do you think?

Both are organizations and teams. Both are well managed and are doing what the can to field a winning team. I don't know how it would be possible to divide them by calling one an organization and the other a team.

Well the Cubs can stick to "going out and buying players" and we'll stick with being a championship team that actually wins something. You're the one that's probably right. I mean you have to be a good organization when you don't win diddly squat for 98 years.
And it's not like Screw Pinella wasn't a former player. Besides, Ozzie has been a better manager recently. the '05 Sox were no where near the most talented team, but teamwork and Ozzieball led us all the way.

Question to Georgie: How can an entire baseball season (2005 as you claim) be a fluke? We played 174 games and came out on top. It's not possible to ride a fluke through 174 games. Porgie is probably speaking out of jealousy that he's suffered through the Tigers being the laughing stock of the league for 10 years or so.
And I know you just didn't call the Cubs organization classy. They are the drunkest fans in the entire majors! No class whatsoever!

They are both a team and an organization.
One is classy (Cubs) and the other are a bunch of little crybabies (white sox).

The only real difference between the whiney sux and The Cubs is that The Cubs are Chicago's #1 baseball team.

The whiney sux know that 2005 was a fluke, and this year they are beginning to show thier true colors. The whiney sux will be extremely lucky this year to finish ahead of KC this year.

The white sox have no manners and absolutely no couth!!!
