I have an assignment due Monday and I'vce gotten some ideas, but if I got more detailed information, maybe I can get a pretty good grade (well at least to win the case).
I'm not sure if you guys know of this case, but my class was seperated between helping the defendant and proving the defendant guilty.
Here's the case and it's an actual case quite some time ago.
Andrea Yates a victim of schzophrenia and mental disease kills her 5 infants by drowning them. She was proven to have problems and well, she believed she was Satan and Satan told her to kill her kids. Her kids also had collars on them. She said the dogs told her to take off their collas and put it on her kids. Andrea Yates were taking her mdecine a year ago and symptons were shown at that time too. Her husband went to work when she killed the kids. Is there any way I can prevent her from being guilty?
Please give a thorough response. Using excessive information is allowed!!

Can you people just tell me how to prevent her from being guilty without basing it on the TV?

To Steven: Yea, I know she's guilty. My class is redoing the case so that a group in the class has to defend her and the other group has to prove her guilty.
Why would I do a case without knowing anything?
