Almost all civilisations have a 'flood' story, and a Noah type of character. Of the top of my head, I can only think of Manu in India who was also warned about an upcoming flood.

The most logical explanation for all of these, is that a catasclysmic event did take place many thousands of years ago.

In fact, there is much scientific evidence of a huge global flood about 10,000 years, possibly caused by a giant meteor crashing into the earth and causing havoc ( by, giant, I'm talking a few miles big, not hundreds).

Anyway, humans tell stories and thes stories survive, even though the source (and often the truth) get forgotten.

So, in a nutshell, thousands of years ago, giant meteor caused huge floods. Most humans dies, a few survived, and their 'story' has now become legend.

Seeing as the dinosaurs died out millions of years ago and nobody has ever found proof that unicorns exist, thats the reason why Noah didnt save them.

I strongly recommend reading 'Fingerprints of the Gods' by Graham Hancock. Awesome book that looks into the possibility of pre-flood civilisations.

I can't tell you about the dinosaurs, but the Irish Rovers did a neat song about the unicorns back in the 60s or 70s:

THE UNICORN SONG

A long time ago, when the Earth was green
There was more kinds of animals than you've ever seen
They'd run around free while the Earth was being born
And the loveliest of all was the unicorn

There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn

The Lord seen some sinning and it gave Him pain
And He says, "Stand back, I'm going to make it rain"
He says, "Hey Noah, I'll tell you what to do
Build me a floating zoo,
and take some of those...

Green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
Don't you forget My unicorns

Old Noah was there to answer the call
He finished up making the ark just as the rain started to fall
He marched the animals two by two
And he called out as they came through
Hey Lord,

I've got green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but Lord, I'm so forlorn
I just can't find no unicorns"

And Noah looked out through the driving rain
Them unicorns were hiding, playing silly games
Kicking and splashing while the rain was falling
Oh, them silly unicorns

There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Noah cried, "Close the door because the rain is falling
And we just can't wait for no unicorns"

The ark started moving, it drifted with the tide
The unicorns looked up from the rocks and they cried
And the waters came down and sort of floated them away
That's why you never see unicorns to this very day

You'll see green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
You're never gonna see no unicorns

[New Lyrics]
Now you might think this is the ending to the song,
But I'll have to tell you friends that in fact you're wrong
You see, Unicorns are magical, so when the rain started pouring,
They grew themselves some wings and they took to soaring.

You'll see green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
But if you're looking for the unicorns, don't be forlorn,
The second star to the right and straight on until morning.

Enjoy :-)

Dinosaurs and unicorns were super intelligent beings who actually BELIEVED Noah when he said it was going to flood. So while he was building an ark, they were building a spacecraft.
The dinosaurs worked with the unicorns and made sure that all were aboard when they took off. THe dinos needed them for a food source on the trip. The laziest and dumbest dinosaurs were left behind.
This is why we can find dino bones, but not unicorn bones.

The dinosaurs were too heavy and the unicorns were off dancing in the rain (to the tune of an Irish Rovers song). Noah pretty much had his hands full shoveling out the bottom of the ark from all those other animals. One good Bracheosaurus poop would've sunk them.

Seriously, none of those animals are mentioned in the Bible. Even cats - a real animal known to the Hebrews - isn't mentioned in the Bible once. You can't fault a myth for leaving out nitpicking details.

The dinos were too heavy for the ark and the unicorns would not quit trying to fly around so he took them back and left them.

Unicorns are symbolic and never existed.

Dinosaurs were extinct before the time of the ark.

The Bible references dinosaurs as a leviathan or a behemoth.

Dinosaurs were no longer around (giants in the earth remember) And as for Unicorns they are immortal and when they touch the sea they become "foam" and you catch glimpses of them in the breaking waves as they try to come back to shore.

The dinosaurs were long gone by then. The Unicorns were in the dimension where they live.
