If I was homosexual I think I would be offended! I definitely will not be seeing this movie.

I hate what a world we live in, where anybody can take offense at absolutely anything. I don't think the people behind "Chuck and Larry" set out to offend homosexuals, and the homosexuals who are offended need to stop getting mad at every gay joke.

I mean, you can't say gays/lesbians don't make fun of the straight people.

There might have been stereotypes in the movie, but what comedic movie these days doesn't stereotype? The point of the movie was good. Acceptance and the like. The ending was unrealistic, but I can name countless good movies (Academy Award winners included) that have very unrealistic endings. I guess by now you've concluded that I liked it :) BUT I do understand where you're coming from, and I wouldn't be surprised if gays were offended. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if gays liked it, either.

it's called freedom of speech. what kind of world do we live in that a person can't make a movie without offending someone? everyone makes fun of everything these days and there isn't anything anybody can do about it so people need to lighten up and live with it. it's not like it's personal. your intitled to your opinion, but if people want to pay $8.50 to see a movie, even if it would offend some people, that's they're own business. i mean, i'm a catholic and i my religon is made fun of all the time and you don't see me protesting. i'm sure everyone has seen at least one movie that would offend someone else.
no offense :)

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Everyone should be able to take a joke. And by not seeing this movie you are missing out on one of the best movies of the summer. Seriously however i am not homosexual, this movie did not seem all that offensive. I also havent heard of any people protesting outside of the theaters to have the movie banned. See the movie and then see if you think it was offensive. Also a few times in the movie they are called fags. They respond by beating up the people and telling them that the acceptable term is "gay". That isnt really being offensvie is it/

Every movie, song, book, speech, and any other art probably offends someone. Nobody likes being made fun of or being portrayed in a negative light, but thank goodness we don't have any censorship in this country. People are free to write what they want, and others are free to see it or ignore it.

Chill out! It's a movie. It's for entertainment. If you don't like that movie, then don't go see it. But don't judge others for thinking it's funny. Tolerance, honey!
